Pancreatic Cancer CME

Pancreatic cancer has the worst survival rate of any solid tumor. Because symptoms of pancreatic cancer can be subtle, the majority of patients are diagnosed with advanced disease. Many of these patients are treated in the community oncology setting. Physicians in the community must be able to optimize current available therapies (surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, and molecular targeted). Treatment optimization requires an accurate understanding of the disease state in the adjuvant and metastatic settings. Treatment optimization also includes an understanding of how to provide palliative care to patients with advanced pancreatic cancer.

CME LLC has collaborated with a team of oncology and hematology specialists to provide insight into currently unresolved treatment dilemmas. In New Treatment Paradigms in Pancreatic Cancer, these experts write about recent advances that are pertinent for oncology practice, and provide a reasoned and practical perspective that may advance patient care.
