FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
How do I claim credits for CME activities that I have completed?
CME activities are presented in a sequence of web pages. As you consume the activity, you will traverse the Start, Login (if you are not already logged in), Content, Evaluation, Post-Test (live activities do not have post-tests) and CME Credit pages. CME credit is earned when the evaluation and post-test are completed. Each page has a CONTINUE button which will take you to the next page in sequence. If you complete the evaluation and post-test, you will earn credit for the activity.
If you completed an activity and would like to complete the evaluation at a later time, you may do so by proceeding as follows:
- Go to "My Account / My Activities".
- Locate the activity which you’d like to claim credit for on the list of incomplete CME activities and click the CONTINUE button for that activity.
- Complete the Evaluation and Post-Test for the activity
Where is the "Claim Credits" tab?
The "claim credits" tab is no longer available. Please see "How do I claim credits for CME activities that I have completed?" for instructions on claiming credit on the new website.

What if I get errors trying to register?
Make sure you fill out all required fields as marked by the red asterisk (*) in the correct format. If you are a Doctor or Nurse, you will also need to indicate your License number in the box(es) to the right of your Qualification as they need to be indicated on certificates.
What if my certificate does not show?
In that case, you probably need to update your computer’s Adobe Acrobat version by clicking on the ‘Get Adobe Reader’ button on the top right corner of the certificate page.
Are there any charges for these activities/certificate?
Most of the activities listed are free. The ones that are $15 are clearly marked in the list. You may take all other activities available to you for free online. Please be advised that the system will not allow you to complete activities for meetings you did not attend. If you wait until the meeting evaluation expires, we would have to manually create your certificate for which a $15 processing fee would apply.
Will I get credits for these online activities?
These activities are available for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for Physicians. Other healthcare professionals may find this activity informative and should check with their state licensing and certificate boards to determine if it meets their continuing education requirements.
What if I changed my email address from the one I registered with?
You do not need to create a new account! Simply log in with your old email address. Once logged in, you can go to ‘My profile’ to update email, password, specialty, Customer ID/Badge number, or any of your contact information. To merge accounts, call (800) 447-4474.
What is my Customer ID/Badge number?
This is not a required field when logging in or filling out a registration, but you will need it to get a certificate for a meeting you attended. If you don’t know it, do not put any number here as you may not be able to change it later. Simply call contact our customer service department toll free at (800) 447-4474 or email us at customer.service@cmellc.com.
General Settings:
Screen Settings
Your screen resolution must be 1024 x 768 for optimal viewing resolution for most activities, to see the entire slide area. To change the resolution on a Windows-based computer, go to the Start Menu, Settings, Control Panel, Display and click on the Settings tab. Set to 1024 x 768. For older computers, it is possible the monitor is not capable of viewing at this resolution.
Your Computer
Keep in mind, there are minimum computer system requirements for this course to work properly. We recommend using an up-to-date computer with plenty of memory. Internet Explorer is strongly recommended. If you are not using Internet Explorer, your experience with this activity may not be satisfactory. For multimedia presentations, you will need external speakers and a sound card.
Pop-Up Blockers
Please turn off/disable all "pop-up” blocker software. This website uses "pop-up” windows.
Attention America Online Users
Due to the number of browsers used within AOL's software, we cannot guarantee that all AOL visitors will be able to perform certain operations or transactions. We strongly recommend that users acquire the most recent upgrades available from AOL. If you experience a problem with our site on your AOL browser, we suggest that you use Internet Explorer.
Slide Presentations:
For our slide presentations, you will need an updated version of Flash Player. This is available at no cost and if you do not have the version needed, you will be prompted to download the software and related plug-ins as needed. Use the link in the middle of the slide presentation page and follow the steps as indicated.
For some presentations, you will only need Flash. This includes presentations with slides only, as well as presentations where the audio starts automatically when the slides are viewed. Slides with embedded audio will play at the pace intended by the presenter and will advance automatically with the audio presentation. You may advance the slides at your own pace, but the program may have been designed to auto-advance.
Please note there may be courses that do not advance automatically. You must manually advance to the next slide when the audio is finished playing for the particular slide you are viewing. Refer to the "User Guide" for complete instructions (a link to the user guide is located on the course intro page).
Once you have completed the article, use the Posttest and Evaluation information to get your online certificate. Again, please be sure you have turned off all "pop-up blocker" type of programs.
