Program Description
The primary goal of this educational initiative is to provide clinicians with the most up-to-date information regarding fibromyalgia, with a focus on effective diagnostic criteria and management strategies that help optimize functional ability and quality of life for affected persons.

Learning Objectives
By participating in this activity, you will be able to:

  • Explain the importance of understanding the pathophysiology and identifying the nonspecific symptoms in the detection and diagnosis of fibromyalgia syndrome
  • Understand the quality-of-life implications of fibromyalgia syndrome
  • Evaluate the efficacy and safety of nonpharmacologic and pharmacologic treatments for the management of fibromyalgia syndrome
